Standing In The Rain

This morning, it was raining for a couple of hours. As usual, I had to walk to the bus stop so I could get to school, and today was a very FUN bus stop. It was raining pretty hard when I was walking down, and I saw that it was going to be only Samantha, Renee, Kessa, Joseph, and I at the bus stop. Kessa and I got down there around 8:00 and Joseph was already there. So we talked while we waited and about 10 minutes later, Samantha and Renee showed up. We started talking about the how there was lots of traffic, and ended up talking about hair. Renee decided to leave, because the bus was already 10 minutes late. So it was just Kessa, Samantha, Joseph, and me at the bus stop talking. A kid down our street, one of Joseph's best friends, Bret, came driving down in his car with his dad. So Joseph got a ride to school, while Samantha, Kessa, and I were getting soaked at the bus stop. 30 minutes passed by, and still no bus. I went to the other side of the road to see if it was coming, and sure enough, it was about to come to our bus stop. I hurried back over to the other side of the road with Samantha and Kessa, and we eventually got on the bus. I calculated how long we were at the bus stop, and it turns out that we stood there for 45 minutes. We got to school right as the first bell rang, and luckily, we have the first bell that indicates that we have to go to class, a warning bell (one minute before class starts), and a final bell that indicates that class has started. After school, it was clear that we were not happy with the bus driver. Hopefully, it will still rain, but it won't be as long to get on the bus as this morning.
